Forbes reported that Tramiel passed away on Easter. He was 83. ] Saddened to hear the news but many good memories of many hours spent on the C64 and Amiga. Note Atari Corp was formed from the split off home computer/console division of the original Atari company.

From what I've heard, he was a coaching legend. A pity an incredible career will probably be overshadowed by one incredibly big mistake he made. RIP.

Man arrested for trying to perform citizen's arrest on teenagers throwing apples at him and his wife
