Not Spanish... this is the Azores, Portuguese islands in the middle of the Atlantic with historically strong emmigration to the US (particularly Newark and Hawaii), many of those being taken by the bulls seem to be emmigrants back home for the holidays (you can tell by caps and shorts which are not Portuguese in the least).

I'm not really sure what we're arguing here. I clearly get that it's dangerous. But I don't really care about dying. I'd rather collect as many experiences as possible and see how far I'll get. Might good for the gene pool, really.

He appears to be arguing that your implication of being "young and agile" will help you survive is fallacious.

You appear to not get his obvious point for some reason, and instead are putting forth the irrational notion that hurrying up and getting killed will somehow enable you to get "as many experiences as possible", which is the opposite of living longer and mitigating stupid risks to ensure you are around long enough to experience more.

Clearer now?

Well, whatever works for you.

The few times in my life when I've been (or thought I was) in serious physical danger haven't felt exhilarating or life affirming in the least. The sensation has been of existence from second to second, but no future. Not pleasant. But like I said, whatever works for you.
