My interpretation;

Jesus rules, all other religions drool.

Saw references to Islam, Hinduism, Native American gods, Judaism, corporate worship etc.

And the big shiny glowing Jesus.

You did see the Christian churches crumble in the end of the movie, right? Or maybe those were Catholic churches?

And wasn't that Islam getting resurrected (represented by the swirling dervish)? It emerged from the exact spot that those fighter pilots bombed. Maybe the Muslims DID get it right, but they they went about it the wrong way? (Osama Bin Laden)

Have you heard the idea that the Jesus resurrection myth was one retold several times before? I think the Jesus character was like the "real" Jesus, one that predates all the other manifestations (including the Christian one) and one tied with fire and the sun. Why else did he emerge from a boat with a jackal's head?

Helio = sun fant=to show. So maybe he's coming to show that sunworship is the true way?

Pretty much old-school Jesus got fed up with the world and initiated the end of the world. That glowing sun in the end of the video is coming to wipe life off the planet/start new beginnings.

I have NO idea what's up with the grandma with the saggy tits or the break-dancing Mexican wrestler in Native American garb.

"Sun-Sue" is probably a play on Sun-Tzu (or at least Google thinks so). She represents Chinese dissidence (Tiger on her jacket) and she does replay Tiananmen Square

"Aali" is an Islamic name

"L'enfant Bleu" translates to "The Blue Child... no clue here

"Madame Q" is trapped in a lighthouse and has menstrual blood on her underwear that disappears after some light from the heavens shines on it

"Lady Helotry" is a play on "Lady Liberty". The Helots were "tied to the land, they worked in agriculture as a majority and economically supported the Spartan citizens. They were ritually mistreated, humiliated and even slaughtered: every autumn, during the Crypteia, they could be killed by a Spartan citizen without fear of repercussion."

The Blue Child may be a tie in to Henry Bauchau's L’Enfant bleu (a 1913 novel). The Online Magazine of the Visual Narrative describes it as such:

"L’Enfant bleu tells the fictive story of Orion, a psychotic young boy. Encouraged by his therapist, he learns how to develop and explore his imaginary universe through drawings and stories. This unusual therapy will open him a way towards greater welfare and will, ultimately, allow him to find his own place in the society."

At 4:35, doesn't it look like a man lying down with a huge erection? With white... stains on it? And a heart-shaped neon sign? WTF?

And from the website, "Madame Q's point of suffering is sex. Is it repression or indulgence? We don't know. Yet there is definitely shame there."

Blond girl with the apple is named "Lily". Represents Lilith, Adam's first wife? Apple representing fruit of knowledge and all that? Lotus flower everywhere represents Buddhism. I'm starting to think the makers of the film are just randomly stringing together symbolism for its own sake

I think it's more Buddhist than anything. It says in the description that it's intended to show the fire at the heart of human suffering, through images that represent events of the past ten years.

Honestly, I think what's intended here is simply that human suffering is the same, regardless of where you are or what you believe in, and that its impetus is the want of things; greed, power, etc. Eh, that was my take anyway.
