quote [ The Italian godfather of car design, Sergio Pininfarina, renowned for crafting sleek Ferrari race cars and revolutionising the common auto, has died in Italy's motoring capital Turin at the age of 85.
Pininfarina designed the Ferrari Testarossa, Fiat 124 Spider and Maserati GranTurismo, among others, during his long career. ] The man was a genius, and it's quite a legacy he's left behind.

I checked, everything's still attached :) Naruki's said this before, and I'm not sure whether it's an innocent mistake or a puerile attempt to annoy me, either way it's of no consequence. |

I couldn't agree more, but I wanted to make sure before I said anything rude about the 1980s V12 monster that has dated so badly (and is about 25 feet wide). There's a black '80s testarossa that lives somewhere near my home, I see it around alot, and it really is a tremendously large car. Fuck it sounds good though, as you'd expect. |

Cool animation. I didn't even realize how often they changed engine sizes. Going from I4 in the 80s to one year in the 90s where they had V12 back down to V8 is pretty crazy. |

With boost, you're getting better power to weight ratios. There's only so much power you can put through the tires without spinning them, so you'll want to go with the smallest engine that develops enough power to match your traction. It looks like he's got an inline 4 in 1969 which seemed weird to me. On the wikipedia page, Jackie Stewart was driving a v8 (although his team did field a 4 cylinder as well). |
