Neil Armstrong gives rare interview to Australian accountant

quote [ “I know something not a lot of people know about Neil Armstrong—his dad was an auditor” ]

Full interview from the source: yes, CPA Australia.

Interviewer Alex Malley is head of the Certified Practicing Accountants of Australia.

Former astronaut Neil Armstrong is the first person to walk on the Moon.

It is in fact an excellent interview with an iconic figure who is known for not speaking much in public.

And yes, Malley did ask him about the faked moon landing conspiracy theory.

Who says accountants have to be dull?

I heard Alex being interviewed about this interview and how he got it on 720 ABC.

Brilliant!

I saw an interview with the guy that interviewed the guy that interviewed Neil Armstrong.

Wasn't that great. Though I hear the interview of the interviewer that interviewed the guy that interviewed Neil Armstrong is hard-hitting shit. I'll have to check that one out.

That's very much in the category of sad but true.

At least our politicians aren't (generally) as batshit crazy as the yanks (I'm pretending Tony Abbot doesn't count).

Ok so yeah some of out pollies are a bit batshit but not Santorum or Ron Paul levels of batshit.

Pretending Tony Abbott, the man likely to be PM by the end of the year, doesn't exist is an exercise in ignoring a herd of elephants having a tap dance competition in the room.

The fact that we don't have complete loons (on the front benches at least) is likely due to the preferential system, for which I am eternally grateful. Even if it did start off as a power grab, it turned out for the better.

Nobody has explained why accountants are interviewing people. They must have had some kind of reason.
