quote [ Why so many sperm? We turn to the animal kingdom to answer that question, which lands us on a tour of sperm battles in ducks, flying pig sperm, and promiscuous whippoorwills. ]

I thought I recognized it. I should have looked at it in context. |

Choice and Race were awesome episodes...Sperm, not so much. I like when Radiolab blows away some widely held misconception, but this one just sort of expands on sex ed. Still, +1 Radiolab. |

I didn't really want to focus on one episode, but rather the series as a whole. I just knew sperm would get the most attention. =] |

There's something about the style of Radiolab that I just find annoying. |

I love the show, but I agree with you. My main issue is that when I listen to the show I'm constantly adjusting the volume. It seems like Jad is at 100% volume, Robert is at 50%-70% and then the random sound effects hover around 150%. It gets really irritating after awhile. Anyone else notice this? |

I love this show. When i lost my ipod recently I was more bummed about not having a convenient way to listen to the new season's episodes than losing the ipod. |

Absolutely wonderful show. I would recommend Choice for a first listen. It was a wonderful beginning to the new season. |

Agreed. That was my introduction to the show as well. Completely mind-blowing to consider that rationale and logic can actually cripple decision making process, and trying to overcome an emotionally based decision with logic is often contrary to what our experiences have taught us. |
