Where's Mel and Flo? Oh, not that Alice. Oh well, kiss my grits anyway.

And they left out Alice's 3-way with the Mad Hatter and the Red Queen.

Loved that movie!

As an embarrassingly huge fan of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (and any of Carrol's other sundry stories [Hunting the Snark does not get enough credit for its awesome]) I approve.

Combining my love of alice in wonderland with japanese art. It's no spirited away, but great anyways.

Alice doesn't live here anymore.

in chains, Alice sits in her angry chair, her only companion a rooster down in a hole who would be heaving beside her were it not for the man in a box whose name I can't remember because I stay away.

You can get everything you want at Alice's Restaurant, except her rooster.

this just goes to show: the story of the Brady's housekeeper is universal and spans all cultural divides.

Who da' fuck is Alice?
sacrelicious said @ 7:51pm GMT on 16th Oct
go ask the Brady's housekeeper.

I think she'll know.
follywaggle said @ 8:13pm GMT on 16th Oct
Ok, maybe that one was a long shot.

Meh. Lovely drawings but I really don't see any connection with Alice.

It's all mental. You have to WANT to see Alice. See? Right there...
assbastard said @ 12:21pm GMT on 17th Oct
Wait... that's not Alice... that's... a sailboat?
mhy said @ 1:44pm GMT on 17th Oct
the descriptions of the scenes are written below the drawings
wyckedfae said @ 3:21pm GMT on 17th Oct
You don't? You miss the mad hatter, the march hair, etcetera?
Barnabas_Truman said @ 11:40pm GMT on 17th Oct
In the Tea Party picture, I see a person with a top hat and a person with rabbit ears. I wouldn't make the connection with the Alice in Wonderland characters if it wasn't pointed out. You could just as easily say that a leprechaun (hat), the Easter Bunny (rabbit ears), and the tooth fairy (little girl) are meant to be a portrayal of the mad tea party.

Eh. The inclusion of the doormouse helps. I would have placed it either way, but I've read the books a lot. Plus, they're labeld *in* the artwork, so it's hardly ambiguous.
