Where did you move from? From within New Zealand or from another country. If from another country I think that is pretty cool. But if from within New Zealand not nearly as cool.

I had a friend get a working visa for doing agriculture work. He basically spent a year hitchhiking around NZ working on various farms and partying. I was very envious when I heard that story.

I grew up there, but managed to escape. I have to say, when I was growing up there it was a grey and isolated dump, but now when I make my 6-12 monthly visit from London or NYC (or where ever I find myself) I don't mind it so much, depends what you are looking for in life.
Best bit is that you are only 2-4 hours to Central Otago.

I think wetas are found further up north; leprechauns never quite made it this far; it's cold so the women are hairy (but comfortable).

In truth, we're a pretty young city due to the University of Otago, and do get a disproportionately large amount of attractive women. Like most university cities however, it gets a little quiet over the summer (which isn't a bad thing either). Oh, and we wage war on the leprechauns who live just over the Kilmog.

Hey, isn't Ronin.ca from Quebec? Hmm... the Kiwis I know are not big fans of the French! Something to do with France's testing of nuclear weapons in the South Pacific. But then again, the Quebecois are really more like "aboriginal French", so maybe they are exempt?

In any case, I've always wanted to visit Dunedin: it sounds culturally interesting. And I think that Sam Neill lives nearby... :-)
