Where did you move from? From within New Zealand or from another country. If from another country I think that is pretty cool. But if from within New Zealand not nearly as cool. I had a friend get a working visa for doing agriculture work. He basically spent a year hitchhiking around NZ working on various farms and partying. I was very envious when I heard that story. |

Joined SE whilst I lived there, now I'm in auckland. Believe we have discussed this before. Thehollowmen may or may not still be kicking around dunedin, and I believe he mentioned another member (one of the early ones? begins with a T?) as being there. |

I grew up there, but managed to escape. I have to say, when I was growing up there it was a grey and isolated dump, but now when I make my 6-12 monthly visit from London or NYC (or where ever I find myself) I don't mind it so much, depends what you are looking for in life. Best bit is that you are only 2-4 hours to Central Otago. I wish you luck... |

I think wetas are found further up north; leprechauns never quite made it this far; it's cold so the women are hairy (but comfortable). In truth, we're a pretty young city due to the University of Otago, and do get a disproportionately large amount of attractive women. Like most university cities however, it gets a little quiet over the summer (which isn't a bad thing either). Oh, and we wage war on the leprechauns who live just over the Kilmog. |
