People were copying files before bittorrent, they'll be doing it even if it somehow magically disappeared tomorrow. Hell, people copied shit on floppy disks, and carried them to their friends. They'll never stop the copying; they have to make paying for it more attractive than not paying.

He did have one amazing voice. Strangely, I had never heard of him until I stumbled on Leonard Cohen's music (Ever seen Exotica? Hehe), but that made this the first song I heard by him (and still my favorite):

It was the first of his I'd heard, too. I was in love with the Rufus Wainwright version, but this one took my breath away. I don't think I've ever heard another song with a guitar solo that makes me actually feel something. Other than in my pants.

Actually, sometimes listening to Jeff Buckley DOES make me regret being alive... He contributed more to the world in his time than I'm likely to in all the rest of mine. It's unfair that nobodies can survive when a shining star like him died so damned early

Have you heard the remastered version (2004 - Legacy Edition)? It's clearer, well done.

Thanks for the tip. I went looking for my copy this afternoon and couldn't find it, so I'm going to need a new copy anyways.

Normally I don't like to buy cds but if its from someone I really like I tend to get the cd for the cover art and to support the artist.

I used Demonoid religiously until they shut down, now I just google "name of what I'm looking for" + "torrent".

I found out about these here, but there are a some good stand-alone torrent search apps. I use Bit Che and Torrent Harvester. They usually turn up whatever I'm looking for.
