TRIGORIN DEAD

quote [ Trigorin, poster of 212 entries, 601 comments, whose Karma was 161 and who found it in his heart to moderate other SE users 15 plus 'good', is dead. ]

Sorry, I don't have a site up yet. I'm Trigorin's best friend, and I'm sure he'd have wanted everyone at SE to know this, so call it his last post. Trigorin was in a car accident last Sunday, and was killed. Please put up some kind words for the man, as he loved SE. Thanks.

It ended up being between informative ("thanks for letting us know") or good ("good you told us, not good it happened").

I fear it may be a bit inappropriate me being the first to comment as I never really knew him well, but at least we can all remember him for his informative, and occasionally hilarious posts.

Don't forget to post back and tell us what it's really like in the Hereafter, Trig. Hope it all goes sweetly for you.

It is sad when someone dies, joy should be taken from their light their deeds and how they spent their life...........

If there is an afterlife have fun Trigorin

What was Trigorin's real name? All that I can think of is Robert Paulson.

I'm on and off this site a whole lot, so haven't really gotten the chance to 'know' many of you. I knew Trigorin as an extremely funny dude, and I'm bummed to hear about his accident. Best wishes to you, the rest of his family, and other close friends.

Give our regards to all those kitties for us, mate. In the end, we're all headed in that direction...

I recall a similar event in another board, when a deceased poster's friend printed out the pages after pages of members' condolences, to be given to the family as a tribute, a memento of how much he was appreciated in there.
Perhaps in this case that might not be appropiate, what with the horse joke and all... but surely he would have a laugh at it.
unga-bunga said @ 10:13pm GMT on 13th Oct
I know I would want to see everything. Even the horse joke.
Trigger said @ 10:42pm GMT on 13th Oct
Ohh sure, yuck it up at the horse joke.

I can't say that I know any of you to any extent, I mean, I'm the guy who doesn't always come to the one pub. However, my condolences with Trigs family, I'm sure he will be missed for many more worthy reasons than for being a great poster, but as little as we may have meant to the world at large, he meant a lott o us. He was one of us, he belonged, we belong. We ahve lost a member, we have losta friend I never got the chance to know.
Gunner v2.0 said @ 10:51pm GMT on 13th Oct
Damn decent of you to let us know. I am so sorry to hear this. Didn't know the guy at all, but sweet mercy that man could put up a good post. He was a mainstay here. He will be missed.

Sorry to hear this dude. I haven't really been around enough in the last year or so to know much about Trigorin, but my condolences go out to all who knew him, laughed with him, cried with him, and were inspired by him.

I can't imagine the pain this is causing. RIP Trigorin.
