It really irks me when these hippies get up in arms about "man-made animals" like these chickens and other genetically modified animals. "They don't exist in nature, they shouldn't exist".. Oh yeah, how about that big chunk of COW you had last night at supper? How about those flightless turkeys? What about those big, friggin chicken eggs you get at the supermarket? Pretty much everything we eat now is "genetically designed" in that it is the result of centuries of selective breeding. I don't see how this is any different. I mean, how many cows are there in nature? Can you just see a big black and white spotted thing, wandering through the forests of british columbia, getting its huge udder caught on everything and staring stupidly as bobcats tear chunks from its hide? Moo.. Mooooo.. *thud* |
