SENSIBLE HOWLING - DAY TWO

quote [ Beneath the surface of nature's beauty lies a cold heart. A heart that shows no mercy. Or remorse. ]

Welcome back to Lupensbrusch. Brush your teeth.
Prologue
Day one

"The sleepy town awakes. And with the sun shining brightly over the forest, signaling the beginning of spring, it almost seems for a moment like the nightmares may be over,, maybe the werewolves decided to call it a night and forgive them for once.

They should know better by now. Breaking the lazy pace of dawn, a group of children runs through the streets screaming. You grab one of them and ask him what's wrong.

"The wolves!" He says, "They killed young Mouse, the handyman!"

The question in everybody's mind was: "Why?" Mouse was a smart kid. Not always the nicest guy, but he had kept to himself the last day, not making any waves.

The Necromancer examined his chewed-on bones. "He was a regular villager", he declared, before disappearing into the woods again, as usual."

I dunno. The whole discussion launched someone to the top of my suspicious list - remiq. So saying that lynching no-one gives away no information isn't true. The whole discussion is quite informative, about peoples attitudes and whathaveyous. More informative than any of the other bandwagons so far, in my opinion. And I don't think that killing no-one is a decent long term policy. But given that, until the discussion was lauched I couldn't think of anyone I thought was a wolf, not lynching anyone seems a good idea. But you're right - we're gonna have to make most of our decisions based upon people talking funny.

Anyway, this whole remiq business. He attacked this whole idea vehemently without giving any reasons for it. He likes people getting lynched. He openly asked to be contacted by the seer or guardian (not investigated, contacted). He disagreed with himself without saying he'd changed his mind:

In my opinion, seer should tell first checked (and verified human) person about himself and then broadcast who's who to every human he know.

Other option is to make himself known to everybody, so guardian can save him.

Barnabas_Truman's theory is a bullshit. I won't stand still while wolves are eating us. I don't belive in seer. I bet after a few days he will get killed and we will know nothing beside that a few of us were human.

I vote to lynch Barnabas Truman, the inkeeper.

But then, I might just be getting this from his somewhat broken English. Or might be still bitter he votes to lynch me. I'm tempted to lynch him, but I'm sticking with no-one for now.
